PTI Punjab Women’s Wing staged protest against Zahra Shahid killing

Lahore: PTI Punjab Women’s Wing staged a strong protest against the cowardly and heinous target killing of Zahra Shahid Hussain, Senior Vice President and Founder Member of PTI.

The tragic incident is an act of blatant terrorism. The status quo political parties have fully laced their militant wings and believe in the ‘democracy’ through bullet rather than through ballot. Syeda Saloni Bokhari, President, Shamsa Ali, Senior Vice President, Saadia Sohail, General Secretary, Asfia Naeem, and many other office bearers and members of Women’s Wing, took part in the protest.

The PTI Women’s Wing condemned the gruesome target killing of an elderly lady, highly educated and priceless citizen of Pakistan. Zahra Shahid has embraced martyrdom in the cause of true and transparent democracy.

PTI W. Wing, called upon the H’able Supreme Court to take suo moto notice of this blatant target killing to thwart PTI’s heroic struggle for safeguarding the citizen’s fundamental right of free, fair and transparent voting.

PTI W. Wing reiterated the party’s stand that the first and foremost step for regaining the peoples’ faith in democracy is to ensure that each and every true vote is counted and accounted for, and all measures of rigging are effectively eradicated.
