Common man has expressed confidence on PML-N:Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Shahbaz Sharif has said that the common men residing in villages, towns and cities of the country have expressed confidence in the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N and we will come up to their expectations at all costs. Addressing the meeting of PML-N in Lahore today, he said that PML-N believes in practical work instead of promises and any political party can feel pride over five years’ performance of the previous Punjab government.

Shahbaz Sharif said that we did whatever we said and new system of metro bus, cardiology hospitals in big cities, Aashiyana Housing Scheme, distribution of Laptops among talented students, Ujala Programme and educational scholarship are practical proof to our sincerity.

He reiterated that education will also be our top priority in the coming government and besides Daanish Schools, provision of missing facilities would be ensured in thousands of government schools of the province. He said that like rapid bus service, we will introduce rapid education system for bringing revolutionary changes in education sector and seven hundred billion rupees will be spent on education sector during next five years.

While addressing newly elected assembly members, he congratulated them and said that great responsibility lies on their shoulders. He said the elected representatives should not forget that they are answerable to the people of Pakistan including their voters. He said that the popularity of PML-N and their good reputation among the masses will depend on their performance.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the assembly members showing best performance will be our pride and those representatives who will not discharge their responsibilities honestly will have no concern with us.

Shahbaz Sharif said that people have put heavy responsibilities on PML-N. He said that those people who did not cast vote in favour of PML-N are also hopeful from the next government as they know that Nawaz Sharif and his team are fully capable to bring the real change in the country.

Earlier, talking to media Shahbaz Sharif said that we will welcome the proposals of Opposition in every matter including solving the educational problems and reducing loadshedding. He said that PML-N has not yet come into power but our political team has started its work in the form of committees for improvement of various sectors including education, energy and production.

Replying to a question, he said that derogatory language was used against us during election campaign but we did not respond in the same tune. We upset our opponents through decency and will surprise them through our performance after coming into power, he concluded.
