Caretaker Minister Law Punjab shows concerns about senior citizens

Lahore: Caretaker Minister Law Punjab Shamus Mehmood Mirza has directed the officials of concerned government departments to finalize recommendations for the provision of maximum facilities to the senior citizens in the province.

He expressed these views while presiding over the meeting of the committee to revisit the Punjab Senior Citizen Bill. The meeting was attended by Minister Health Salima Hashmi, Secretary Law, Secretary Social Welfare, Additional Secretary Finance and high ranking officers of the concerned departments. The committee has been formulated to revisit the rights and privileges of senior citizens in the province.
