PCB announces central contract

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board announces the award of its Players Central Contracts for the 2013 Calendar year. For the second consecutive year the Players Retainership fee has been increased. The 2013 Central Contracts have raised the Retainership fee by 15 %. In the 2012 Central Contractthe same had been increased by 25%.

It may be noted that the increases in player fees in 2012 was made after 3 years as the last increases were made in 2009 thus in the last two years a total increase of more than 40 % has been made. The Test Match fee for all categories has also been increased. PCB had also raised the players match fee for all formats by 10% in the 2012 Central Contract.
