Voters sit in continues even on third day

Lahore: People are protesting in the metropolis like other parts of the country against the massive rigging.PTI workers sit in was going even on the third day.Thousands of people including women,girls,kids,youth and the old men were sitting on the road at Gazi Road.Police have blocked all the roads with barriers that leads to Gazi Road.

Passionate voters were ready to face consequences for their sit in as it could not be easy to sit on the road in the hot days and nights of May.But Divine seemed to be kind on the protesters as two passed days were not as hot due to rain and cool breeze.

Protesters have announced to carry on their protest till the ECP or CJP take notice of the rigging.On the second day of the protest,newly elected MNA Shafqat Mehmood,Ahsan Rasheed,Hamid Khan,Fozia Kasuri,Yasir Gilani,Hafiz Farhat,Ahsan Rasheed and other PTI leaders addressed the public and demanded new elections in both the constituencies that were extremely rigged under the military administration.

They announced to start protests against rigging through out the Punjab and said all the evidences would be presented to the ECP for necessary action.
More over PTI workers gave sit in at Shahdara More for few hours and it was decided that PTI would give sit in every day at Shahdara More for two hours from 5pm to 7pm against theft of the mandate.

Meanwhile ,PTI chairman Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan spoke to the to the participants of the sit in and said she came to tell the message of her brother.He would talked to you if he would have been able to come,she added.My brother was not happy on rigging,he wanted to join sit in and protest but due to injuries he could not join you,she maintained.

PTI Punjab president Ijaz Ch said police stamped the ballet papers to change the results.
