CM takes notice of torture on journalists in Multan

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Najam Sethi, taking notice of the incident of torture on journalists during the public meeting of Tehrik-e-Insaf in Multan, has called for a report from Inspector General Police, Punjab on the incident.

The Chief Minister directed that action be taken against the persons responsible for that incident. He said that the torture on journalists during the discharge of their professional duties, was intolerable.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, taking notice of the maltreatment with a PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry in Gujranwala, has also called for a report from Inspector General Police Punjab on this incident. He directed that action be taken against the persons responsible for that incident.
