Lahore: An 8-member delegation of Young Doctors Association (YDA) called on the Secretary Health Punjab Arif Nadeem in his office today and apprised him of their problems.
The delegation included Dr. Nasir Abbas, Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dr. Aamir Bandesha, Dr. Abu Bakar Gondal, Dr. Zulqarnain Butt, Dr. Waqar, Dr. Usman Maan and Dr. Ehtisham. Special Secretary Health Punjab Babar Hayat Tarar, Additional Secretary Health (Admn.), Azmat Mahmood, Additional Secretary Health (Establishment) Asfand Yar Khan and Deputy Secretary Admn. Rana Saleem were also present on the occasion.
The meeting discussed seniority list of young doctors, promotion of doctors from grade-17 to 18 as senior registrar and consultant and other matters. It was decided that the meeting of departmental promotion committee for promotion of doctors in grade-18 would be convened on Thursday, May 8.
