Secretary Health directs to take disciplinary action against Doctors

Lahore: Secretary Health Arif Nadeem has directed to take disciplinary action against the doctors and officials of the department for showing negligence during anti-measles campaign which include, Dr. Kamran Bokhari and Dr. Manzoor Bajwa of Shalimar Town, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan of Shahdra, Muhammad Rasheed Lab Assistant Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Razia Bibi Lady Health Worker Kacha Nisbat Road and Vaccinator Ejaz of Ghaziabad Lahore.

According to the spokesman, the above mentioned doctors and officials were declared guilty of negligence in performing their official duties by the monitoring teams constituted by Secretary Health. He said that anti-measles campaign is a national obligation and no leniency would be shown to the officials on negligence in this regard.
