Elections could bring about a mini revolution:Syed Munawar Hassan

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said that the conditions prevailing in the country called for a revolution and the next elections could bring about a mini revolution.

Addressing a big rally at Quetta on Sunday, he impressed upon the electorate to inflict a crushing defeat on the feudal lords, vaderas and capitalists who had been serving as US agents and plundering the national wealth for the last sixty five years. He said that for the first time in the country’s history, the masses would be getting an opportunity to reject the corrupt politicians who had darkened the future of their young generations, deprived their young ones from education, crushed the people under price spiral and unemployment, and built huge properties abroad by looting the public money.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that all those who wanted to change, must get out of their homes on the 11th of May, throng the polling stations and vote for the JI candidates.
The JI, he said, wanted to establish the just Islamic system as would wipe out exploitation and assure progress and prosperity for the nation.

He said that hundreds of the JI men had been in the assemblies and local governments in the past but there were no charges of corruption, misuse of power against any one of them. He said the JI manifesto revolved around service to the people and the JI had been helping the nation in the national calamities even without being in power.

The JI, he said, had always refused to bow before US slavery and played a great role to foil Indian designs against this country.
Syed Munawar Hasan said that Pervez Musharraf had abrogated the constitution twice, killed innocent girl students at Lal Masjid and Masjid e Hafsa. He was confident that the petition field by the JI against Pervez Musarraf would have desired results and the traitor would meet the fate he deserved.

The JI Ameer said that the country’s rulers had created anarchy in Balochistan by pursuing the foreign agenda. He said it was a happy sign that the people of Balochistan had decided to participate in the elections. He said the US bastions in the world were crumbling one by one, and the US agents were losing their popularity. As such, Pakistan would also get freedom from the US hold,

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the conditions of the country could not improve without the enforcement of the just system of the Shariah.
