JI leaders never involve in corruption during last 65 years: Munawar Hassan

Karachi: Over thousand Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leaders have been elected for national and provincial assemblies during last 65 years and not even a single case of corruption being registered against them, as they always worked for the welfare of the people and won the hearts of the people by their efforts.

These views were expressed by Chief Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hasan while addressing a large gathering of Shabab-e-Milli workers on the occasion of ‘Umeed-e-Pakistan Youth Convention organised by Shabab-e-Milli at M A Jinnah Road here on Sunday.

Addressing on the occasion, Munawar Hasan appealed to the people to vote for JI in order to make the future of the country, as JI was an only party which can change the destiny of the country and its people.
“We are working for deprive, needy, poor, downtrodden and for those people who have been affected from military operations”, he added.
Hasan said that the youth of today is able to differentiate between right and wrong adding the youth of entire world has contributed a lot in bringing revolution.
He urged the workers of Shabab-e-Milli to work day and night in order to foster awareness among the people to come out on voting day and vote for the change.

“The people should reject those in upcoming elections who push the country into the war of terrorism adding t he Kashmir issue will not resolve till those come into power who take dictations from US and India”, Hasan added.

On the occasion, JI Chief said that the plunders after looting the national exchequer are jumping ships before elections, with a view to repeat their practice again.

He urged the Chairman PTI Imran Khan to be attentive before including those who left other parties in order to join PTI and become president.

Hasan said media should expose those who plunder the national exchequer and violate the Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
Addressing a gathering, JI chief said that the MQM was not a political party, but a terrorist organisation which snatch the mandate of the people of city by force.

he rejected the delimitation of just 11 constituencies and said that it was just a sheer drama by Election Commission to befool the people of the city.

Meanwhile, JI chief appreciated the struggle of Taliban in Afghanistan and said that the NATO forces have being defeated by Taliban in Afghanistan.

Earlier, JI Karachi chief Muhammad Hussain Mahenti, Naib Ameer Sindh Asadullah Bhutto, President Sindh Shabab-e-Milli Azeem Baloch, Nazim Islami Jamiat Talba Pakistan Zubair Safdar, President Shabab-e-Milli, Pakistan Ateeq-ur-Rehman and others also spoke on the occasion. Later, ‘Namaz-e-Shukrana’ was also offered on the successful gathering.
