PGMI starts searching the parents of newly born baby

Lahore: Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute, Prof. Anjum Habib Vahra has said that all resources are being utilized along with publicity through media to handover the child, found in Lahore General Hospital, to his parents.

Prof. Anjum Habib also requested police authorities to contact LGH administration, if report is lodged in any police station about missing of a one-month old child. It may be mentioned that, a few days ago, an unknown woman had left a one-month old child, outside the Gyne ward, who was taken into possession by the hospital administration, and admitted to nursery ward while efforts are being made to trace child’s parents and heirs.

The Principal further said that no effort will be spared to ensure complete protection and well being of the child.
