Lahore: Pakistan people party central information secretary Qamar uz Zaman Kaira has said that in Asghar Khan Case in the Supreme Court, immediate action should be taken against Sharif brothers as it has been established they have received big amounts, Pakistan Muslim League and Peoples Party will contest elections together. All matters are being settled amicably, seat to seat adjustment is being done for entire Pakistan whereas PML central information secretary Kamil Ali Agha endorsed him.
Briefing the media about meeting with Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi of Mian Manzoor Wattoo and Qamar uz Zaman Kaira at their residence here this evening, both of them said that the meeting is being held in a pleasant, positive and constructive atmosphere in which Moonis Elahi, Anwar Bhinder, Nasir Mehmood Gill and Yousaf Ahad Malik were also present.
Kamil Ali Agha said that besides amicably resolving all pending matters headway is being made in an appreciable manner and all small matters cropping up now and then are also being resolved.
Qamar uz Zaman Kaira said that the impression of any discontinuation about meeting not being held yesterday was wrong, our talks are continuing in a pleasant and positive manner, we have started the process of adjustments of seats from Punjab some name have been finalized and if the task is not completed tonight, the deliberations will also continue tomorrow because we have to decide about the seats of the whole country.
In reply to a question, Qamar uz Zaman Kaira described the report as concocted about differences in the Peoples party and strongly condemned them. He said this reflects poor thinking and is part of sinister campaign against Peoples Party ahead of the elections. In reply to a question regarding action against Sharif Brothers for receiving heavy amounts in Asghar Khan Case, he said that this has been proved in the apex court of the country, the honorable court and NAB should take immediate action in this matter, which will be seen by the election commission of Pakistan and as well as the people of the country, this matter deserves special attention of the superior judiciary also.
