Health Department holds a ceremony in the honour of former DG’s

Lahore: A ceremony was arranged by Director General Health Punjab Dr. Nisar Ahmed Cheema in honour of former Driector Generals of Health Department which was attended by former DG Health Dr. Khalid Saif Ullah Khan, Dr. Sabiha Khursheed, Dr. Rana Khalid Mahmood Tikka, Dr. Anwar Khan, Dr. Aslam Chaudhary and Dr. Zahid Pervaiz besides other senior officers of the Department.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Nisar Cheema said that officers of Health Department Punjab are engaged in improving the health delivery system in the province and comprehensive practical measures are being taken with the coordination of health professionals and health managers for the eradication of diseases. He proposed to form a think tank comprising retired senior officers of the Health Department so that the recommendations of these experienced officers and technical persons could be kept in view while making policy. On this occasion, the retired officers threw light on professional experiences during their service.
