CM Takes notice of deley in tenth class syllabus

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of the deletions made in tenth class syllabus and directed the School Department and Punjab Textbook Board to immediately restore the deleted items in the syllabus.

A spokesman of the Punjab government has said that the Chief Minister has also constituted a four-member committee comprising of Senior Member Board of Revenue, Chairman Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Chairman Punjab Education Endowment Fund Dr. Amjad Saqib and head of Islamiat Department of Punjab University to examine the process that has led to changes / deletions in the syllabus. The committee will also determine the authorization level in this regard and submit its report to the Chief Minister within two days.
