Lahore: British Educationist, Michael Barber, while paying tributes to Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on educational reforms in Punjab, has said that Punjab’s progress in the field of education is laudable.
In his twitter message, Michael Barber said that two years ago, Indian and Pakistani Punjab were at par in education sector but now the Punjab Province of Pakistan has gone ahead in this connection. He termed recruitment of more than eighty thousand teachers on merit in Punjab as good omen for educational development. Michael Barber said that Punjab has achieved success on the pattern of Madhia Paradesh and Brazil and the reforms introduced in the education sector are a pride not only for Punjab but the whole country.
