Traders’ community is the backbone of the country’s economy:Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that . He said if people gave an opportunity of service, traders’ community will be rid of undue taxes and their rights will be protected. He said this august gathering of traders is witness to the fact that PML-N candidates will achieve a thumping success in the elections. He said that Zar Baba Forty Thieves have ruined the country’s economy, corruption is rampant, unemployment is at its peak besides worst crisis of electricity loadshedding. He said that general elections are near and if people elected Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the loadshedding will be eliminated within two years.

He expressed these views while addressing a reception hosted by traders’ community in his honour at Bagh-e-Jinnah tonight. MNA Pervaiz Malik, Members Assembly Khawaja Imran Nazir, Ch.Shahbaz, Advisor Muhammad Ali Mian and trader leaders were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister was awarded gold medal by traders’ community on his exemplary public welfare measures. The Chief Minister was accorded warm welcome when he reached the reception. Traders also showered flower petals on the vehicle of the Chief Minister. A beautiful dance of horses was presented on the occasion. Thousands of people raised slogans ‘Dekho Dekho Kaun Aya – Sher Aya, Sher Aya, Mian De Naarey Wajan Gey, Nawaz Sharif Zindabad, Shahbaz Sharif Zindabad’.

Addressing the reception, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Zardari and his cronies have emptied the national exchequer. He said that the people will bury the politics of Zardari and his cronies forever. He hoped that people from Peshawar to Karachi will give thumping majority to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the forthcoming general elections. The Chief Minister said if PML-N got an opportunity of public service, metro bus will be plied from Thokar Niaz Beg to Shalimar via Azadi Chowk and Railway Road. He said that Punjab government has served the masses selflessly during five years. He said that during flood and dengue, Khadim-e-Punjab was present everywhere while Zardari was enjoying in Paris and London leaving the people in distress. He said that PML-N will eliminate corruption from the country as corruption has weakened the foundations of the country. He said that Nawaz Sharif is the leader who constructed motorway, airports, strengthened economy of Pakistan and made the defense of the country impregnable by conducting six nuclear explosions in response to five atomic blasts of India. The Chief Minister expressed his belief that people will elect a sincere and honest leadership in the forthcoming general elections.
