PML-N government has made record investment in education sector:Zaeem Qadri

Zaeem QadriLahore: Special Assistant to CM Punjab on Education, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that PML-N government has made record investment in education sector for the first time in the history of country. He said that Punjab government has made unprecedented development work in education, health, transport and other sectors.

He expressed these views while distributing laptops at National College of Arts, here today. Advisor to CM Begum Zakia Shahnawaz, Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Uzma Bukhari, Principal National College of Arts Dr. Shabnam Khan and teachers were present in large numbers on the occasion.

Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri said that education-friendly policies of Punjab Chief Minister were started from day one by the Punjab government. He said that it is our manifesto to handover the reign of the country to intelligent and talented students. He said that merit has been given preference in distribution of laptops, Ujala scheme, Aashiyana Housing scheme, Punjab Education Endowment Fund, recruitment of teachers, yellow cabs distribution, establishment of Daanish Schools and metro bus project. Zaeem Qadri said that revolutionary steps have been taken in education, health, transport and IT sectors and masses are benefitting from them. He said it is a matter of proud for Punjab Chief Minister and his team that Transparency International has praised merit policy in Punjab.

Later, Begum Zakia Shahnawaz inaugurated the Art Gallery at National College of Arts. She urged upon that students to play their due role for giving a new recognition to Pakistan at international level by using their talent in the fields of fashion, jewelry, designing and other sectors. Earlier, the chief guest was given a warm welcome. Laptops were distributed to 238 students who paid rich tributes to Punjab Chief Minister for his excellent performance. Guard of honour was also presented to the talented students.
