CM Punjab likes to travel in Metro Bus

Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, alongwith provincial cabinet and senior officials of Punjab travelled by metro bus with ordinary passengers from Ittefaq Bus Station to Civil Secretariat today. Senior Advisor Senator Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Senator Pervaiz Rashid, all provincial ministers, special assistants, advisors, Chief Secretary, IG Police and other officials got tokens along with Chief Minister and boarded on metro bus by standing in queue.

Due to rush Chief Minister, cabinet members and government officials travelled by bus while standing. The passengers while talking to the Chief Minister said that metro bus project is a historical gift to the people by Punjab government. It is such a splendid project due to which we are reaching destination on time, they added. They said that we need rulers like Shahbaz Sharif to which we have an opportunity to talk without any hesitation. They said that Zardari and his jugglers have ruined us and the country by plundering the national wealth. He said that people have witnessed who have looted during last five years and who have served the masses whole heartedly. The passengers said that Shahbaz Sharif has ensured the journey in a respectable manner and rid us of dilapidated buses.

Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while talking to the passgngers said that for the first time in the 65 years history of the country, any government has made such an excellent project for the common man. He said that even a small house is not completed in eleven months whereas we have completed a masterpiece like metro bus. He said that elite were enjoying comfortable and safe transport facilities during the last 65 years but the poor and common man was forced to travel by old and decrepit buses. He said that we have changed the transport culture by completing metro bus project and now rich and poor are travelling together in metro bus. He said that this is such a project which has removed the gulf between the poor and rich. Shahbaz Sharif said that Zardari gang ruined the country and made the lives of the people miserable by looting national resources of billions and trillions of rupees. He said that completing gigantic projects like metro bus in the presence of this corrupt gang is a big achievement of Punjab government. He said that if Zardari gang started this project, then it would never have been completed. He said that if people gave an opportunity of service, metro buses would also be plied in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and other cities. He said that metro bus would be plied from Thokar Niazbeg to MAO College and Minar-e-Pakistan to Moghulpura. He said that if the people brought Nawaz Sharif into power with their vote, the country would be rid of electricity crisis. He said that sincere efforts would be made for overcoming problems like poverty, unemployment and terrorism. He said that if Zardari and his jugglers will leave the country, we will set all things right. Shahbaz Sharif said that the propaganda of Imran Khan, prime minister and Kaira about metro bus has ended due to the report of Transparency International Pakistan. He said that transparency has been promoted in the province by eliminating the culture of Sifarish and nepotism.

The Chief Minister along with common passengers came down from metro bus at Civil Secretariat stop and went to Civil Secretariat by foot where he presided over the cabinet meeting. The passengers expressed their pleasant surprise by seeing the Chief Minister among them and prayed for his health and long life. On the mentioning of Zardari, a passenger said that reference to such looters is not appropriate here.
