Cancer incidence is about 10 million people in world

Lahore: Cancer incidence is about 10 million people in world, and in female major cause of mortality is breast cancer and females should take any swelling of breast seriously. This was observed by Dr. Hafeez Oncologist of Mayo Hospital Lahore at a breast cancer seminar at Institute of Public Health Lahore.

Dean Institute of Public Health Prof. Dr. Maaz Ahmed observed that 09 lack females suffer from breast cancer every year in world and 03 lack of them die in one year. He also observed that only preventive remedy to avert this mortality is timely diagnosis, avoidance of risk factor and immediate treatment.

Dr. Taskeen Zahra delivered a lecture on breast examination by female themselves. Prof. Dr. Shahid also spoke on the occasion. Seminar was attended by Staff & Students of Institute of Public Health, Members of Civil Society and large numbers of female students.
