Lahore: President Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded) Arbab Ghulam Rahim met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town, today. Political situation of the country, cooperation in forthcoming general elections and political issues were discussed in the meeting. Chairman Pakistan Muslim League (likeminded) Hamid Nasir Chatha, General Secretary Hamayun Akhtar Khan, Haroon Akhtar Khan, President Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded) Sindh, Arbab Lutfullah, General Secretary Sindh Senator Ghaffar Qureshi as well as PML-N Member National Assembly Pervaiz Malik, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan and Chairman Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the return of former chief minister Sindh, Arbab Ghulam Rahim to Pakistan and said that the forthcoming general elections are not for a change of government but for survival of the country. He expressed the hope that people will bring forward an honest and sincere leadership in the general elections. He said that Pakistan is passing through a critical phase and the correct decision of the people will take the country in the right direction. He said that incompetent rulers of PPP have disappointed the people who will reject corruption kings in the general elections.
