Rehman Malik cashing in on Badami Bagh incident: PML-N

Lahore: PML-N leader Abid Sher Ali on Monday warned Interior Minister Rehman Malik against cashing in on the issue of Badami Bagh arson attack.

In a statement, he said the minister was issuing irresponsible statements against the Punjab government which is unacceptable.
“One cannot find an irresponsible interior minister as Rehman Malik even in the countries like Rwanda and Uganda,” he said.

He said how could Rehman Malik blame the Punjab government for the Badami Bagh incident when he himself has failed to arrest the killers of Benazir Bhutto, Salmaan Taseer and Shahbaz Bhatti.

He asked the interior minister to understand the sensitivity of the situation and avoid interfering in the affairs of provinces.
