Shahbaz Sharif is responsible for Badami Bagh incident : DPM Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has condemned in very strong words inhuman and regrettable incident of setting ablaze of entire locality of Christian community in Lahore and said that this incident had occurred only and only due to incapability of the Chief Minister and this is a proof of height of his inefficiency.

Expressing heartfelt sympathies with the effected families in a statement issued here today, Ch Parvez Elahi said if the Chief Minister had taken timely notice and action this incident could have been averted in which St Joseph Colony comprising more than 200 houses, shops and Church was set ablaze and completely destroyed. He said that after this incident instead of suspending DSP and SHO, the Chief Minister should take action against himself, now by taking such measures and holding high level meetings, he cannot befool the people of Pakistan, Christian community and the world opinion, neither he can hide his incapability nor remove the spot on Pakistan at the international level.

Ch Parvez Elahi assured the Christian community and their leaders that Pakistan Muslim League (PML) is with them in their moments of sorrow and grief and will always stand by them like in the past.
