Zakia Shahnawaz inaugurates Ladies Park in Johar Town

Lahore: Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister, Begum Zakia Shahnawaz inaugurated Ladies Park in connection with World Women’s Day in Johar Town today.

Begum Zakia Shahnawaz said that ladies park is a gift of Punjab government for the women on the occasion of 102th World Women’s Day. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Begum Nasim Bano also accompanied her. Begum Zakia Shahnawaz also visited the park and lauded its standard.

Later, she participated in a ‘mushaira’ on the topic of ‘Chiriyan Da Chanmba’ with regard to Rang Lahore under the aegis of PHA at Ladies’ Park Green Town and appreciated the poetry of the women. The women singers also performed on the occasion.
