Punjab Women Development Department will organize a seminar on women day

Lahore: Secretary Women Development Department Punjab, Irum Bukhari has said that a special seminar will be held in connection with International Women’s Day under the aegis of Punjab Women Development Department on March 8 at 10 am at Punjabi Institute of Language and Culture, 1-Qaddafi Stadium Ferozpur Road and arrangements for this seminar has been finalized.

While presiding over a high level meeting, here today Irum Bukhari said that practical steps taken by Punjab government regarding women will be highlighted in the ceremony. Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Begum Zakia Shahnawaz will be the chief guest while first Provincial Woman Ombudsman Mira Phailbus will be the guest of honour. Women organizations from within the country and abroad will also participate in the ceremony.
