Students pay tribute to Shahbaz Sharif

CM PUNJAB-4 (1)Lahore: During the ceremony of completion of five years of Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF), a female student from Muridke, Habiba Siddique said that her father was jobless and she wanted to study further after passing her pre-engineering exam but her economical circumstances did not permit. Meanwhile, the educational scholarship came into her life as a fresh air and she got admission in Punjab University Information Technology College which provided her an opportunity to get internship offer from Microsoft Company, New York. She said that it is the result of prayers of her parents and the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Habiba said that she would become Arfa Kareem for the nation and the country. While addressing the Chief Minister, Habiba said that the people of Punjab and Pakistan have lot of hopes from you and you are our leader for reaching our new the destiny.

Another student, Saad Zafar, who has done Master in Thermal Engineering from Manchester, said that his father runs a photocopying shop and his earning is Rs.10,000 per month. He said that after passing his F.Sc exam, he completed mechanical engineering from NUST but the dream of foreign education was materialized through PEEF which gives scholarship on 100% merit. He said that he will promote the educational vision of Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

Amna Javed, a blind student who is doing her B.Sc Honours at Kinnaird College, thanked the Punjab Chief Minister and said that it is because of him that she is continuing the journey of her education. She said that her father is a rickshaw driver and it was not possible for her to get further education but PEEF made it possible. Her father told that out of four, his three children have died and Amna is his total life who wants to become a judge or an ambassador.
