Rahim Yar Khan: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif paid a whirlwind visit to Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur and inaugurated development projects of billions of rupees. Besides inauguration of sewerage project at a cost of 2.5 billion rupees in Rahim Yar Khan, the Chief Minister accompanied by Ambassador of UAE Essa Abdullah Al Basha Al Nuaimi inaugurated Allama Iqbal Open University Campus Road, Sheikh Kalifa Public School, Sheikh Kalifa Healthcare Centre, Sheikh Kalifa Para-medical Center, Garhi Sangi Bridge, widening of road from Garhi Sangi to the Palace, Sheikh Kalifa Sports Complex, Sheikh Kalifa Stadium, Sheikh Kalifa Vocational Technical Institute for Women and family park projects. The Chief Minister inaugurated Civil Hospital completed at a cost of three billion rupees in Bahawalpur. He also distributed allotment letters among the eligible persons under Katchi Abadi Small Garden Scheme and laid the foundation stone of Aashiyana Housing Scheme in Bahawalpur. Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated drug testing laboratory completed at a cost of 4.5 crore rupees in Bahawalpur. He distributed laptops among more than four thousand male and female students at Islamia College University Bahawalpur.
