PPP’s 9 MPA joins PML-N, pays tribute to CM Punjab

Lahore: Nine Members Provincial Assembly belonging to PPP, Uzma Bukhari, Sardar Kamil Gujjar, Javaid Allauddin Sajid, Nishat Ahmed Khan Daha, Qaiser Iqbal Sindhu, Rana Babar Hussain, Muhammad Jameel Shah, Abbas Zafar Hiraj and Rana Munawar Ghaus along with former General Secretary of PPP Punjab and former MPA Samiullah Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town today and while announcing to join PML-N, expressed their complete confidence in the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced that two Members National Assembly belonging to Q-League Dewan Ashiq Bukhari and Pir Muhammad Aslam Bodla have also expressed their confidence in the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and joined PML-N. He said that we warmly welcome the new entrants. Out of nine members assembly of PPP who joined PML-N, six belong to districts of South Punjab. Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, MNA Ayaz Sadiq, Special Assistant Zaeem Hussain Qadri, Members Assembly Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed, Mian Muhammad Nauman and former MPA Irfan Khan Daha were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition Ch. Nisar Ali Khan welcomed joining of OML-N by Members Assembly of PPP. Talking on the occasion, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the PML-N is the most popular political party of the country and its popularity is increasing day by day. He said that joining of these members of PPP will further strengthening PML-N. He said that PML-N is the only party which, under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, can bring the country out of crisis. He said that Punjab government has taken a number of steps for the welfare of the people. He said that after five years Punjab government is successful before the public. He said that the respect and honour of Members Provincial Assembly who joined the party will be ensured. He said that we will jointly serve the country and the nation.

Talking on the occasion Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan said that a large number of MNAs and MPAs of PPP want to join PML-N. He said that the entire nation is looking towards the general elections. He said that we will have to fight war for the country and the nation and bring it out of crisis. Ch. Nisar Ali Khan said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has shown excellent performance in Punjab whereas PPP government has disappointed the people and Zardari has caused great loss to PPP. He said that it will not be wrong to say that PPP of Bhutto has become Zardari League.

Members Assembly who joined PML-N strongly criticizing the anti-people policies of PPP said that due to wrong policies of Zardari, PPP is facing isolation and the PPP government gave nothing to the people except deprivations, disappointments and darkness during five years. They said that PPP has committed massive corruption and corrupt government of PPP gave nothing to the people. They said that the PPP government will reap what it has sown. They said that the menace of corruption is the “gift” of PPP government and we have joined PML-N unconditionally. They said that Punjab government of PML-N under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has shown exemplary performance by serving the people of the province round-the-clock and they are fan of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. They said that Shahbaz Sharif by serving the people with sincerity and honesty has proved that if the leadership is determined, it becomes easy to achieve the goal. While on the other hand, PPP government has ruined the national institutions and the condition of masses is poor. They expressed their complete confidence in the leadership of President PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and assured that they will work shoulder to shoulder with Shahbaz Sharif for bringing the country and the nation out of crisis. They said that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is the only leader who can steer the country out of crisis.

Talking on the occasion, Uzma Bukhari said that PPP government gave nothing to the people except deprivations and disappointments during the five year. She said that Zardari has hijacked PPP and now party of Bhutto has become Zardari league. Samiullah Khan said on this occasion that PPP government gave nothing to the people and it is not that PPP for which we had taken oath of loyalty. He said that the condition of the people has worsened during five years whereas PML-N has worked for the progress and prosperity of the people of Punjab in real sense.

The meeting was held in a very pleasant atmosphere between Members Assembly of PPP who joined PML-N and the Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Members Assembly of PPP congratulated Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on the splendid Metro Bus Project and strongly criticized the anti-people policies of Zardari government. They paid rich tributes to Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on the welfare projects and people-friendly measures and said that Shahbaz Sharif has the passion of service to the people in real sense and they are greatly impressed with the steps taken by him for the welfare of the people.

The Chief Minister in a lighter mood said on this occasion that they can also come to see him by Metro Bus, upon which Leader of the Opposition Ch. Nisar Ali Khan said that now they will travel by Metro Bus and also meet the Chief Minister, upon which, all participants smiled.
