People will decide on performance basis in elections:Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvaiz Elahi has said that in the next elections people will decide on the basis of performance and not dramas, during our govt in the Punjab provision of free medicines to the patients in the hospitals was started but Sharif Brothers have even utilized funds of these medicines on “Jangla” bus in Lahore.

Addressing a big gathering of former Nazims, Naib Nazims and notables in Gujrat today, Ch Parvaiz Elahi said that they have rendered destitute the most surplus province of our tenure, now patients are not getting medicines, doctors are on roads and nobody is concerned about patients, there is chaos in the entire province, people cannot be satisfied merely with dramas nor elections can be won through rigging. Continuing, Ch Parvaiz Elahi said that as compared to this, our govt had set up 14 such institutions of public service which were unparalleled earlier in the history of Pakistan, we spread education, constructed hospitals, roads and educational institutions. He said further that the people should vote for such candidates who are sincere to them and will serve them; we contest elections for solving problems of the people, serving the people with sincerity and good intentions alone is our manifesto. He said for ensuring prosperity of future generations and educing them we all will have to come in the field and elect such right type of candidates who can raise the problems of the people in the assemblies.

Addressing the gathering, former Provincial Education Minister Mian Imran Masood said that N-League was supporting to fake degree holders who were getting false cases registered and indulging in vindictive politics in Gujrat and the Punjab Govt is openly violating the verdict of the Supreme Court by not proceeding against fake degree holder here.

On this occasion, Federal Minister Ch Wajahat Hussain and MPA Khalid Asghar Ghural were also present. N-League and Tehrik-e-Insaf leaders from constituency NA-105 Mohsin Rafiq Bhatti, Arshad Pasha and Haji Faisal and hundreds of their colleagues along with Hanif Haideri met Ch Parvez Elahi, and announced to join Pakistan Muslim League. Gathering was also addressed by Major Nasim Nasim Akhtar Farooqui, Haji Manzur Dar, Shehzad Gill, Mian Parvez Akhtar Pagganwala, Ch Azhar, Dr Rafiq, Nazim Khokhar, Ch Khalid Mahmud, President Anjuman-e-Araeeyan Ch Attaullah Gill, Ch Ilyas, Arif Gujrati, Haji Ilyas Rehman, Mirza Khalid Javed, Ch Abdul Waheed, Ch Javed Siraj Abdul Hayee Siddiqui and Mehr Rizwan.
