Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah has said that the meeting between Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf and Pakistan Awami Tehrik has exposed that both the parties are a tool of the establishment and undemocratic forces. He said that there is no provision for postponement of elections in the constitution and if the establishment made any attempt to undermine democratic process through its pawns, it will be resisted with full force.
He was talking to media after inaugurating an exhibition of calligraphy and paintings arranged by Khana-e-Farhang Iran on the occasion of 34th anniversary of Iranian revolution at Alhamra Arts Gallery, here today. Provincial Minister for Planning & Development Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, and a large number of people were present on the occasion. Rana Sanaullah said that Pakistan was created through ballot and it can only be run in a democratic manner. He said that in the past, some elements tried to run the country created with the power of vote undemocratically and unconstitutionally due to which Pakistan faced irreparable loss. He said that as the elections are coming nearer, the powers backed by establishment are rising. He said that the political and democratic people of Pakistan will ensure defeat for the undemocratic forces.
Earlier, the Law Minister said that Iran is our brotherly country and Iranian revolution is a powerful voice of Islamic world. He also congratulated Iranian brethren on this occasion. Earlier, Ch. Abdul Ghafoor said that Pakistan and Iran are bound together in strong brotherly ties. He said that the whole Islamic world is proud of Iranian culture especially its calligraphy.
