The Ambassador said that Pakistan-Japan relations had 60 years of diplomatic and business interaction. JICA had decades of experience in training and development. The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi had been in Pakistan for 60 years. This underscored the longevity of the enduring business and development relationship between the two countries.

With regard to small and medium scale enterprises in Pakistan, he said Pakistan could learn so much from the Japanese experience. SME’s which were the critical engines of growth provided the livelihoods and employment for thousands of people.
