Anwar Ali Cheema chaired 98th Board meeting

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Production Ch. Anwar Ali Cheema, . In the meeting, the performance of all the subsidiary companies has been reviewed. Recently approved projects by the Board of Aik Hunar Aik Nagar (AHAN) including Central Punjab Craft Development and Northern Punjab Craft Development were appreciated by the Board.

Secretary Gul Muhammad Rind, emphasized the potential in the emerging sector and appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) to its subsidiary companies in promoting production sector in Pakistan. Moreover, CEO, PIDC, Khalid Mehmood Chadda explained in detail the future projects of the corporation and pledged the continuous support to upcoming projects of the subsidiary companies.

The Minister appreciated the consistent efforts of PIDC in facilitating the production sector in Pakistan. It is need of the hour to strengthen the Industrial sector as it would contribute towards not only the employment generation, but towards the national development in the times to come.
