He said the commission for new provinces formulated by Zardari is based on mala fide intentions. He said corrupt rulers are the biggest problems of Pakistan as Zardari government has broken all records of corruption during the last 65 years history of the country. He said orders of judiciary are not being implemented while national exchequer has been plundered so ruthlessly that a person has run away from the country, with an amount of Rs.82 billion, along with his family and on one is there to bother about it.

He expressed these views while talking to Assembly Members belonging to various districts at Model Town, here today. Those who met the Chief Minister included Saood Majeed, Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry and Ch. Arshad Jutt. He said, in order to bring the country out of current crisis situation, the nation will have to pay tax, while the leadership will have to improve its image and credibility before the people and international community. He said foreign investors are afraid to go to Islamabad, but they have invested billions of rupees in Punjab, including in metro bus project and energy sector. He said the leadership of PML-N does not believe in political victimization at all and not a single person has been indicted on political basis during the last five years of Punjab government. He said Zardari has begun political jugglery before elections with regard to new provinces, but people of south Punjab and Bahawalpur are fully aware of his nefarious aims. He said when south Punjab was facing horrible floods, President Zardari was enjoying in London and Paris. He said the people of Bahawalpur have given innumerable sacrifices for restoration of their state. The Chief Minister said that the two resolutions approved by Punjab Assembly, on April 12, 2012, have been distorted and made into “BJP”. He said such persons were included in the commission on new provinces who cannot win even the seat of a councilor from Punjab. He said, unfortunately, Zardari made his staff officer head of the commission on new provinces. He said Zardari’s proposed “BJP” has now become Bhartia Janta Party, and nobody is now prepared to take it seriously. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said metro bus project is not only for Lahore but for the whole country, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs.30 billion in a record period of time which is unprecedented in the national history.
