Ishaq Dar inaugurates new building of blood bank at Data Darbar Hospital

Lahore: Chairman Religious Affairs, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar inaugurated new building of blood bank and modern laboratory at Data Darbar Hospital, today. MNA Bilal Yaseen, Secretary Auqaf Tariq Mahmood Pasha, other officers of Auqaf Department, Khateeb Data Darbar Mufti Muhammad Ramzan Sialvi and other Ulema were present on the occasion.

While addressing on the occasion, Senator Ishaq Dar said that Chief Minister has provided the medical facilities to the people at their doorstep and all hospitals have been modernized. He said that in order to provide timely medical facilities to the people of the area, new block at a cost of rupees six million have been constructed in Data Darbar Hospital where blood bank and modern laboratory have been set up. He said that replacement of sewer line, renovation and repair of the old building of the hospital has been made at a cost of rupees four million. Senator Ishaq Dar said that Data Darbar Hospital can be compared with any big hospital. He said that when all the hospitals of the province were not functioning due to strike of young doctors but all the doctors and paramedical staff of Data Darbar Hospital continue to perform their duties efficiently. He also announced financial assistant of Rs.10 lakh for the hospital for purchase of medicines for deserving patients.

Earlier, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr. Faiza Malik presented address of welcome. Shield was given to the Medical Superintendent on her services.
