Govt gives ownership rights to 2000 katachi abadies

Lahore: Director General Katchi Abadies Punjab has issued notifications of ownership rights to 143163 families of two thousand katachi abadies of forty tehsils so far.

According to the spokesman of Katchi Abadies Department, ten lakh two thousand one hundred and forty-one dwellers of katchi abadies will benefit from this step of Punjab government which is a revolutionary step of Chief Minister Punjab. According to the spokesman, special committees constituted by the Chief Minister Punjab will complete the distribution work of ownership certificates to the occupants for which a separate schedule is being issued.
