Lahore: Ameeer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has called upon the government to implement the Supreme Court orders allowing the people of the Bugti tribe to return to their homes and get their votes registered with the concerned authorities.
He said this in a statement after a telephonic talk with the chief of the Jamhoori Want party, Talal Akbar Khan Bugti on Friday.
Earlier, Talal Bugti contacted the JI Ameer on phone to point out that in spite of the apex courts orders, the authorities were creating hurdles in the return of the Bugti’s to their homes, and the killing of the Bugtis was going on as four of their men had been killed on Thursday.
Syed Munawar Hasan strongly condemned the killing of the Bugtis and said that the agencies and the administration were deteriorating the situation deliberately. He stressed upon the authorities to see reason. He warned that Balochistan was a virtually a volcano and it was better to control the situation by fulfilling the demands of justice.
He said that the victimization of the Bugtis should be stopped and they be given their due rights.
