Youth will become a rock wall against any unconstitutional step:Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Central leader of PML-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that Pakistani youth is awaking and they will become a rock wall against any unconstitutional step. He said that the only short cut to the solution of terrorism, corruption and other problems is promotion of education. He said that we cannot provide respectable jobs to our children without rejecting the loans of Aghyaar. He said that if we come into power, then we will remove the darkness from the country by adopting a policy of eliminating loadshedding on war footings.

He expressed these views while addressing laptops distribution ceremony among students of University of Education at Alhamra Cultural Complex today. Vice Chancellor Dr. Faizul Hassan, Zaeem Qadri, Dr. Asad Ashraf, Ch. Shahbaz, Ejaz Ahmad Khan and assembly members besides teachers, parents and girl and boy students were present in large numbers. A smartly contingent of Punjab police presented guard of honour to the students getting laptops on merit. Hamza Shahbaz said that those running the system are corrupt. He said that some elements are criticizing laptops distribution scheme for the sake of criticism and such people are indulging in insult to the parents and students of Pakistan as Pakistani youth are not a selling commodity and they will vote to their representatives fighting for the survival of the country in next elections. He said that had laptop distribution programme been so bad, it would not have been followed in India. He said that now the laptop programme is extended to PhD scholars and their supervisors who will be given 5000 laptops in PunHamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the dictators have caused damage to every sector of life in Pakistan. He said that Ayub Khan deprived Punjab of the waters of three rivers by Indus River Treaty while Musharraf pushed the country into terrorism and drone attacks by accepting all conditions of America and the whole nation is facing its consequences. He said that Zardari’s corrupt gang did the rest and instead of paying attention to the problems of the country, gave priority to fill their own pockets during five years. He said that the rulers are not paying heed to the protests of hungry and jobless people as well as those killed in Quetta, Karachi and KPK.  He said that national institutions like Railways, PIA and Steel Mills have been destroyed by corruption. Pakistan is being dubbed as a failed state at the global level.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the problems of the country can be solved if the leadership is sincere and imbued with the national spirit. After 9/11, Turkey rejected American offer for waiving off its loans and refused to give airbases to it. Nawaz Sharif also set similar example by conducting nuclear tests after Indian explosions despite all pressure. He said that this tradition of national dignity has been repeated by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif by renounce foreign loans. He said that the nation is witness that Punjab government is making progress without taking any loan and after success in general elections, PML-N will rid the nation of looters, political adventurists and exploiters.

Later, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif distributed laptops among boy and girl students on merit and congratulated the lucky parents and teachers.
