Bill for increasing minority seats would be submitted in NA on Thursday

Lahore: Senator Kamran Michael has said that the Bill for increasing minority seats would be submitted in national assembly on Thursday, January 31 which would be completely supported by PML-N.

While talking to media, Kamran Michael said that due to the increase of minority seats in assemblies they will be included in the national mainstream. He said that PML-N has always practically encouraged for ensuring inclusion of minorities in every walk of life and have given priority to their welfare. Senator Kamran Michael said that majority or minority is not the standard of patriotism whereas we, as a minority, have full sentiments of love and loyalty with Pakistan. He said that our forefathers are buried in this land and we will play our active role for the development of the country like did in the past. He demanded that the minorities should have equal rights as per constitution.

Kamran Michael said that the leadership of PML-N does not believe in hollow slogans. He said that the history had been written on that day when he had been made first finance minister of Punjab and elected as representative of minorities in Senate. He expressed the hope that all parties will support the Bill regarding increase in minority seats unanimously and PML-N by playing its positive role for the welfare of minorities will fully support this Bill. He further said that no Bill can be approved by the national assembly without the support of PML-N. He said that PML-N fully support increase in minorities seats and this is the need of the hour.
