MQM should peep into its conscience:MNA Abid Sher Ali

Lahore: Member National Assembly Abid Sher Ali has said that those pushing Karachi, the city of lights into darkness should peep into their conscience before talking about Punjab.

While commenting on the statement of MQM leader Raza Haroon, Abid Sher Ali said that point-scoring on the issue of law and order is cheap politics. He asked why MQM does not pay attention to improve the law and order situation in Karachi before leveling allegations against others. He said that those who badly failed to check the crimes like murders, kidnapping for ransom, extortion and target killings in Karachi are criticizing peaceful environment of Punjab government about law and order situation in the province.

He said that Raza Haroon, while criticizing the Punjab government, while sitting in Punjab, should also tell the people of other provinces have been forced to leave Karachi. He said that why the traders in Karachi protest daily against extortionists and target killings and why the name of MQM is mentioned in these crimes?

He said that Raza Haroon should well remember that there is a difference in the social condition of Karachi and Punjab. He said that no one can dare in Punjab to force anybody to cast vote in his favour on gunpoint in Punjab. Abid Sher Ali said that MQM has announced to contest elections in Punjab but soon they would come to know about its popularity in Punjab.
