New set up would be announced within ten days:Allama Tahir ul Qadri

Lahore: President Tehrek Minhaj ul Quran Allama Dr Tahir ul Qadri has said that govt will announce within next ten days that when they will dissolve the Assemblies.After meeting with the ruling party’s delegation,Allama Tahir ul Qadri said that assemblies would be dissolved before March 16,2013. Election Commission of Pakistan would have one month time for scrutiny and after passing through the scrutiny ,any candidates would be allowed to start convincing.

PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain led the govt delegation while Mushahid Hussain Syed,Dr Farooq Sattar,Babar Ghori,Qamar Zaman Kaira,Ameen Faheem,Khursheed Shah,Akram Zaki,Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri,Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi,Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz and Anwaar Akhtar Advocate attended the meeting.

Dr Tahir ul Qadri said now no one could deny the moral,political and democratic importance of the accord.It was also decided that names of the care taker PM and Sm’s would be announce after consultation with PAT(Pakistan Awami Tehrek).There was a difference of opinion on CEC but it would be decided with discussion.

He Also objected on the CEC and said Hiring and the working of the CEC was unlawful as they were not appointed according to the constitution.But it was decided that issue of dissolution of Election Commission would be solved after future consultation.

Dr. Tahirulqadri said that the duty of the Election Commission is not only to stop the corruption & irregularities during the election process but also to take necessary steps for this purpose before the electioneering begins. Clause 3 of Article 218 signifies that the development & discretionary funds of the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers & Members of Provincial & National Assemblies shall be frozen immediately. Balochistan Assembly members have been awarded funds worth 30 crores each. This comes under pre-poll rigging hence all such funds should be frozen & utilized for the purpose of providing electricity & gas alongwith giving 50% relief on the utility bills for general public. Furthermore Flour, Rice, lentils, Ghee, Sugar & Tea prices shall be subsidized immediately by 50% so that people can get relief from high inflation.
