PML-N strongly condemns the target killing of Mian Taimur Arbab

Lahore: PML – N Secretary General, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra (MNA) strongly condemned the target killing of the PML – N Sindh’s Joint Secretary, Mian Taimur Arbab calling the slain leader ‘Sher-e-Karachi’. He demanded that the government take immediate action against his killers and bring them to justice. He asked what sort of democracy was being practiced in Karachi where people were getting target killed based on their political affiliations. He explained that this was not the first time that PML – N’s leadership had been targeted in Karachi. He mentioned that Tariq Khan, PML – N’s Vice President Sindh, too was gunned down in a similar targeted attack back in 2008.

Iqbal Jhagra lamented the inaction of Sindh Government against politically motivated target killings in Karachi. He asked how democracy could flourish if people with different political affiliations kept getting target killed. He called on the ECP to take notice of this dangerous trend of political killings that were aimed at intimidating political opponents.

Meanwhile,PML-N lahore has announced a protest that will be held at 1:00 PM in front of the Governor House Lahore against the brutal target killing of PML – N Joint Secretary Sindh, Mian Taimur Arbab Shaheed and his Father Mian Arbab Shaheed. Funeral prayers for the martyrs would also be offered at the protest.
