Lahore: Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has directed the officials of Food Department to keep a vigilant eye on the quota of wheat release to flour mills and prices of flour in the market and ensure provision of flour to the people at prices fixed by the government.
He was presiding over a meeting held to review the prices of flour at 90-Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam, here today. Special Assistant to CM for Food Mansha Ullah Butt, Chief Secretary Punjab Nasir Mehmood Khan Khosa, Chairman Planning & Development Javed Aslam, Secretaries of Finance, Agriculture, Food and Industries departments, Director Food and other concerned officers attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the prices of flour and its provision in the province. Secretary Food informed the meeting that flour is available at fixed prices in abundant quantity in the market. The meeting decided that wheat should be provided to the flour mills as per routine. The meeting also expressed its satisfaction about provision of flour to the people.
