Tahir-ul-Qadri has violated the constitution by demanding dismissal of assemblies:Senator Pervaiz Rashid

Lahore: Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Tahir-ul-Qadri has blatantly violated the constitution of Pakistan by demanding dismissal of assemblies and dissolution of Election Commission. He said that every Pakistani and the national institution which has taken the oath of safeguarding the constitution of the country, should play its role to foil the efforts to deprive the state of its pillars.

Talking to the media, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that just as the nation unites in case of attack on the country, similarly, collective efforts are needed to foil the conspiracy against the pillars of the state. He said that federal government should take every step to save Islamabad from being paralyzed and the people of Pakistan will give it complete constitutional, legal, moral and democratic support. He said that government should take every step to restore the writ of the government in Islamabad.
