Kemcolians demand King Edward Medical College’s restoration

Lahore: The general body meeting of kemcolians forum was held today at Alhamra hall 3 and 3 ex principals namely prof Dr Iftikhar
Ahmed, prof Dr Mahmood Ali Malik and prof Dr Ijaz Ahsan chaired the
meeting .
A large number of professors including prof Dr Amjad,prof Dr Khalid Masud Gondal, prof Dr Arshad Cheema,prof Dr Ghais un Nabi Tayyab ,prof Dr Irshad Hussain,prof Dr Manzoor Ahmed,prof Dr Saulat Ullah khan,prof Dr Amir Aziz, prof mahmood shaukat and other renowned professors,young doctors and students attended the meeting.

The hall was jam packed with kemcolians and all ex principals and
senior professors delivered speeches at the general body meeting and
apprised the kemcolians of the historical past of the king Edward
medical college .the revival of the forum was done and the newly
elected cabinet was announced . prof mahmood Ali Malik was elected the patron in chief , prof Dr Sohail Chughtai the president, prof Ghias un Nabi Tayyab the vice president, prof Dr amjad the secretary , Dr Aslam Rao the joint secretary and Dr Khuda Baksh as the press secretary of the forum. the advisory council of the forum was also announced which consists of prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmed, prof Dr Ijaz Ahsan , prof Dr amir Aziz ,prof Dr mahmood shaukat, prof Dr Khalid Masood gondal and others.

A resolution was passed for restoration of king Edward Medical
college under king Edward medical university as a constituent medical
college of the university and other medical colleges may be allowed
affiliation with KEMU .
