Lahore: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Punjab on Food, Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt accompanied by Director Food Capt. Retd. Usman and Deputy Director Food today inspected various bazaars at Township, Gulberg, Green Town, Ichhra, Bagharian. Except two shops, all stock of flour at Madni retailer at Bagharian and Bhatti Karyana Shop in Satukatla had been sold. Mansha Ullah Butt directed Director Food to immediately contact the concerned flour mill and provide more quota of flour to these shops. After two hours, more bags of flour were provided to these shops.
Mansha Ullah Butt checked the stock and prices of flour in all the bazaars. Director Food also checked the record of flour bags provided to the shops and their sale and found it correct. Mansha Ullah Butt also sought information about the availability and prices of the flour from different consumers visiting the bazaars and expressed satisfaction that the consumers have no complaint regarding flour and its price. He directed Director Food to keep close contact with Deputy Directors Food of all the districts and submit report regarding the situation and prices of flour to him on daily basis. He directed that strict legal action should be taken against those involved in artificial hoarding and selling flour on higher price.
