General elections are a ray of hope for the nation:Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the forthcoming general elections are a ray of hope for the nation and the youth will vote for those who are fighting against corruption and consider national resources as a trust of the nation.

Addressing the ceremony held to distribute laptops among girl and boy students of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-N will win the war against terrorism, unemployment, loadshedding and corruption with the support of the youth. Members of national and provincial assembly, faculty members and a large number of male and female students were present on the occasion. A smart contingent of Punjab police presented a guard of honor to the students.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan cannot stand at its own feet without eliminating corruption from politics. He said that corruption is rampant in the country and steel mills, PIA and other institutions have been ruined. He said that those rulers who beg from Aaghiyar cannot take decisions independently. He said that Punjab government has set up a worth emulating example of national dignity by renouncing aid of Aaghiyar. He said that despite this bold decision, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has completed a number of development projects in Punjab and the metro bus project which is going to be completed at the end of this month in Lahore is a clear proof of it. He said that PML-N is determined to make Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam a prosperous and developed country without begging from Aaghiyar.

Hamza Shahbaz said that Punjab government by taking a number of steps for the destitute including setting up of Endowment Fund with an amount of Rs. 10 billion, soft loan upto Rs. 50 thousand, provision of 75 thousand acre land to agriculture graduates, sending position holder students on foreign tour without any discrimination and cash prizes has proved that if the rulers are sincere, real change can be brought. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Punjab government of PML-N has become a role model for the entire country. He said that Punjab government utilized its resources for the people of other provinces facing natural calamities including floods, earth quacks which are a glorious example of brotherhood, unity and solidarity and the role of Punjab as an elder brother. At the end of the function, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif distributed laptops among deserving male and female students and congratulated their parents and teachers.
