Lahore: The second phase of SIS orientation workshops was held at head office of punjab education foundation (PEF) here on Tuesday. Owners and principals of low-cost private schools partnered with the Punjab education foundation under its new school program in the districts of Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot attended the workshop.
PEF Director (IT) Usman Jarral and other IT experts briefed the participants about efficient use of student information system software designed by the PEF-IT department for the purpose of storing students’ data. This software has helped to store the educational record of 13 lakh students enrolled in more than three thousand PEF partner schools in the province.
PEF-IT department has completed the training of PEF-NSP partner schools in 9 districts. In the next phase, SIS orientation workshop will be held in Rawalpindi district.
