Sheikh-ul-Islam is plundering the money of the poor people:Rana Sana

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah has said that long march of Tahir ul Qadri is a pretext to postpone the general elections and federal government has not consulted Punjab government with regard to caretaker setup before January 14.

He was talking to media here today. Rana Sanaullah said that there is only a minor difference between Tauqeer Sadiq and Sheikh-ul-Islam as Tauqeer Sadiq has escaped from the country after looting national resources while Sheikh-ul-Islam is plundering the money of the poor people. He said that Tahir ul Qadri is in the habit of staging dramas from the time he was Maulvi Tahir ul Qadri. He said that at present when democracy has taken roots in the country and people are going to give their decision for change through their vote, the drama of Tahir ul Qadri of real democracy tantamount to enmity to the country. He said this step cannot be supported at all. The Law Minister said that if Tahir ul Qadri cannot find any candidate who is “Sadiq and Amin” then he should approach Election Commission to get his nomination papers rejected. He said that Tahir ul Qadri should surrender his Canadian citizenship and passport and contest election from any constituency and he is ready to face him. Rana Sanaullah claimed that he will get Tahir ul Qadri’s nomination papers rejected under Article 62 of the constitution and prove that he is not Sadiq and Amin.

Rana Sanaullah said that Deputy Prime Minister now goes to Sheikh-ul-Islam instead of holding his own public meetings. He said that these elements have no faith in democratic system. He said that Muslim League-N will resist any effort to derail democracy in the country.
