Kind hearted Haji Habib says goodbye to Punjab Police

Lahore: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman has said that retirement is also part of the life since the ranks are test of the human being in this world. In order to pass the tests, we must work hard with commitment.

The IGP was addressing the farewell dinner held in his honour at the Central Police Office (CPO) tonight.

Advocate General Punjab Chaudhry Manzoor, former IGP’s including Rana Maqbool, Khawaja Khalid Farooq, Shaukat Javed, Major Zia-ul-Hassan, Ahmed Naseem, Azhar Hassan Nadeem, Khalid Lateef, Tariq Pervaiz, Additional-IG’s, CCPO Lahore, DIG (Operations) and CTO Lahore were also present on this occasion besides the RPOs and DPOs from all over the province.

On behalf of the police, Additional-IG Punjab Malik Khuda Bakhash Awan paid rich tributes to the IGP stating that he played role of a best crime-fighter in the province. He also described the personality of Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman is brave, honest, and humble and kind. He further said that the IGP’s policies logically helped the department improve its image in the media. He further said that it was for the first time that the doors of the CPO were opened for everybody and the public was granted direct access and the credit goes to the IGP.

Meanwhile, Additional-IG Traffic Punjab Kalb-e-Abbas, Additional-IG (PHP) Khan Baig, Additional-IG (Finance) Sarmad Saeed, Additional-IG Training Mubarak Ali Athar, Additional-IG (CTD) Mushtaq Sukhera, Additional-IG (Special Branch) Punjab Nasir Khan Durrani, Additional-IG (Commandant Punjab Constabulary) Ahmed Raza Tahir, and Additional-IG (Investigations) Naseem-ul-Zaman presented souvenir to the IGP on this occasion.
