Extremeism can be eleminated by following the footprints of Data Sb:Haji Ehsan

Lahore: Punjab Minister for Auqaf, Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi has said that (PBUH). He said that we can eliminate extremism and violence from the world by getting guidance through the teachings and footprints of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) and other sufi saints. He said that in the present situation, brotherhood can be maintained among various segments of the society by promoting teachings of saints.

He expressed these views in his address at Syed Hajver Tasawaf Conference at Al-Hamra Hall. Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi has said that ulema and mashaikh should create tolerance among the masses by promoting teachings of saints in the society. He said that present government is paying special attention to the provision of best facilities to the devotees and looking after of shrines of saints. He said that Auqaf Department is spending money received from the shrines on the welfare of deserving people.

Secretary Auqaf Tariq Mahmood Pasha, Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Azhar, Dr. Muhammad Sultan Shah (GCU), Dr. Ghulam Muhayuddin Nizami (Oriental College PU), Dr. Mazhar Moin and Dr. Margoob Hussain Tahir (Oriental College PU), Raja Rashid Ahmad and other scholars also addressed the conference.
