Court restraints Drs to hold any election in the name of PMA

Lahore: Civil Judge Mr. Amjad Ali Bajwa has restrained Dr. Azeem Jahangir and Dr. Riffat Mahmood to hold any election in the name of PMA Lahore chapter on 28th December and has summoned both doctors in his court. This restraining order has been issued on plaint of Dr. Izhar Ahmad Ch., General Secretary PMA Lahore.

Dr. Izhar Ahmad Ch. has taken a position in his compliant that PMA is sole representative body of doctors and its Lahore chapter holds its biennial elections regularly as prescribed in constitution of PMA Lahore. The prescribed procedure was concluded on 18th December, 2012 with declaration of office bearers, provincial councilors, central councilors and executive members of PMA Lahor on same date.

Honourable Civil Court conceding to the facts narrated by General Secretary PMA Lahore and issued a restraining order.
